KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

| Duties and Responsibilities include: | |

| 1 | Work with the Quality Management Representative to prepare internal audit plans and conduct internal audits in accordance with the prepared plan on form AC 05X internal audit plan for the French speaking countries. |
| 2 | Conduct and complete end-to-end quality checks within 30 days of certification decision communication or post-audit closure. |
| 3 | Carry out internal audits in accordance with the provisions of ISO 17065 covering an adequate sample of case file reviews for the involved accredited standards i.e. EU Organic and Global G.A.P. |
| 4 | Compile audit results and generate a report within 10 working days after completion of the internal audit and quality checks process. |
| 5 | Communicate audit results to the concerned personnel through the prescribed reporting formats. |
| 6 | Ensure that all other schemes including verification schemes are internally audited every year using the customized checklist for each standard. |
| 7 | Submit non-conformity reports at least 5 business days from the date of the QC check. |
| 8 | Carry out quality checks to confirm adherence to internal SOPs and individual scheme requirements. |
| 9 | Submit monthly reports on the 5th of the subsequent month. |
| 10 | Any other related duties which may be assigned to you from time to time. |
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field.
- Experience in GLOBAL G.A.P and EU Organic will be an added advantage.
- A qualified Lead Auditor having undergone ISO 9001:2015 QMS Lead Auditor Training.
- Good understanding and experience working with ISO17065:2012 and ISO 17021-1:2015.
- Good knowledge of the agricultural landscape.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- A team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Strong integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to clearly communicate in English and French with experience working in a cross-cultural work environment will be an added advantage.

JOB SPECIFICATION:
| 1 | Creation of new customer ledgers capturing all relevant information including I-tax registration numbers and contact details. Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records |
| 2 | Prepare and issue accurate quotations and invoices to customers in a timely manner |
| 3 | Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and follow up proactively. Enforce credit policies and recommend credit limits where applicable |
| 4 | Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for against receipts |
| 5 | Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes |
| 6 | Generate Weekly AR aging reports and highlight risk accounts |
| 7 | Coordinate with certification desk and customer service teams to resolve any client issues related to billing and payments |
| 8 | Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes, including preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements |
| 9 | Actively manage and attain reduction of company bad debt provision as per KPIs Improve company cash cycle and enhance cash conversion as per KPIs |
| 10 | Use insights from debtors’ collection & ledger analysis to identify collection trends, prepare root cause analysis and support FM to drive plans to mitigate impact on bad debts. |
| 11 | Adhere to IFRS and the Finance Policy. |
| 12 | Advise the Board through the Finance Manager when there is surplus beyond immediate cash requirements for purposes investments. Prepare cashflow projections |

DO YOU POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting a related field from a reputable academic institution. CPA (K) qualification will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 4 years working experience in a similar position in a busy office environment in a culturally fluent, multinational set-up.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software
- Should be well versed with tax and labor laws of Kenya.
- Experience in adherence to tight reporting deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and attentive to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player
- Strong integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Previous experience in credit control and debt recovery processes will be an added advantage

- Strong organizational and project management skills, with close attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to work effectively with other stakeholders. Cross-cultural experience will be of added advantage.
- Proactive and well organized with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

- A team player with good interpersonal skills.
